Internet Studies

Examines the internet as a visual and textual medium, a vehicle for advertisers, an industry, and popular culture. Topics include the history of the internet, the development of internet technologies and media genres, the creation of internet media for audiences, alternative modes of use of the internet, and the political and social implication of the internet.
