Libertarian theories claim we have free will and are morally responsible because some of our choices are undetermined. Critics of libertarianism argue that undetermined choices are products of luck. As such they are not under the agent’s control and so cannot be regarded as free and responsible choices. This course examines various articulations of this objection and libertarian responses to them.
