Diploma in Theology
This program is designed for students who have completed a Master of Divinity degree, are currently employed in a congregational or institutional setting, and seek to undertake advanced studies in order to improve professional practice and/or fulfill ecclesial educational requirements. Each of the courses in this program will be praxis-based, seeking to assist the student in developing advanced skills in the integration of theory and practice.
Candidates will be required to successfully complete five, .5 credit, graduate courses to complete the diploma program. One course will be taken in each of the following areas: Religious Heritage, Cultural Context, Personal and Spiritual Formation, and Capacity for Ministerial and Public Leadership. The fifth course will be an elective.
